About Us
The creation of Juiced Baseball Players site came about after the New York Times best seller book “Juiced” by Jose Canseco was released. Speculation of steroid use was always wide spread dating back to the early 1970’s when mostly it was thought that body builders and football players were the only athletes taking it. As we know now, the epidemic of steroid usage has grown to almost every competitive sport that is played. My two major concerns was first the availability and usage is on the rise from not just professional athletes but our kids and secondly Major League Baseball, America’s past time has been slow to react in punishing athletes that use the banned substance. I realize that MLB’s player union is the strongest union in the United States and they feel that any policy is a good policy but what example is this showing the youth of today? This site was created to point out the cheaters who want to take our game, records. Baseball is the one sport that has a rich history and reveres records and by destroying and staining those records you making our game a joke. At Juiced baseball players, we are not looking for approval for those who break the rules and disgrace our game. This is for the true baseball fan and whether you like it or not we are going to tell it like it is! - The De-Juicer. |
